Brown-Line Seat Belts

In 1957, seat belts were an option.  Most of them were dealer installed, and all of them came in a silver gray color.  While aftermarket seat belts were common, there were two manufacturers General Motors used in 1957.  By far the most common were Davis/Irwin AIr Chute seat belts.  The rarer originals were manufactured by Brown-Line Buckle by General Tube Co.  This car has three genuine original Brown-Line seat belts restore by Snake Oyl Products.  The fourth belt is a matching belt, but manufactured after 1957.  See the Seat Belt page to understand the difference.
